It seems Republican governors aren’t the only ones who are fed up with President Biden’s border policies.
State and local officials are grappling with how to handle the immigration problem that has become too big for even Democrats to ignore.
Gov. Jared Polis (D-CO) has become the first Democrat to join red state governors in Florida and Texas who are sending out immigrants to New York City and Chicago.

However, Polis argues that his plan to ship out the immigrants is “night and day” compared to other GOP governors who have done the same. His defense comes after New York City Mayor Eric Adams, a fellow Democrat, criticized the move.
Adams declared to WABC radio’s “Sid and Friends in the Morning” on Tuesday that there is “no more room at the inn.” The mayor also called the immigration crisis a “national embarrassment.” Adams has requested $1 billion from the Biden administration to house the 30,000 migrants who have come into the city in recent months.
Polis argued that 70 percent of the immigrants coming into Colorado have no intention of staying there and were not making Colorado their final destination.
“No one should play politics with the lives of migrants who came here to escape oppression, and in Colorado, we are honoring our values of treating people with dignity and respect,” Polis said in a Tuesday statement.
Regardless of his kind words, Polis — a notoriously pro-immigration governor of a sanctuary state — is shipping out the immigrants but claiming it’s “not the same” as when Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) did it.
The immigration crisis is far from remedied and has clearly become an issue so large that even Democrats, who may have supported immigration in the past, are starting to realize the social, economic, and even political impact it will have on our nation.
On Thursday, Biden and his administration attempted to backpedal on their lackadaisical approach to the immigration influx by telling refuge-seekers not to come to the border unless they have applied legally.
Biden says this, and yet everything his administration does has encouraged more illegal immigration. He’s lying to you when he pretends his policies will slow this down. It will accelerate. https://t.co/rifuFAi9h7

But the problem is, the invasion has already happened and the Biden administration’s weak efforts are too little, too late.
