California Mass Shooting Stopped By Hero

For every act of evil, there is often someone willing to stand up to it. Footage emerged of Brandon Tsay stopping the Monterey Park shooter Huu Can Tran and saving lives.

It’s like the old adage about a bad guy with a gun being stopped by a good guy with a gun. However, this time the good guy wasn’t even armed. He was just brave and put an end to the carnage.

This came after the shooting left 11 innocent people dead.

In addition, the firearm used by the shooter was already illegal under California law. Any new laws would make no difference regarding the shooting.

Attempts to further restrain the Second Amendment rights of Californians only serve as a distraction. It doesn’t reduce the crime rate. It doesn’t stop illegal guns from falling into the hands of a potential criminal.

California has a lot of work to do, but adding more overlapping gun laws is not the answer. Enforce the gun laws already on the books!

We all owe a debt of gratitude to Brandon Tsay for what he’s done to stop a mass shooter. This type of bravery is needed to stop the mentally ill from harming innocent people.

The role of the police is usually a helpful one, but one that reminds us why the Second Amendment exists in the first place. After all, as the saying goes— when seconds count, the police are just minutes away.

No amount of gun-grabbing laws will change the ability of criminals to use violence against you or your family.

Only your own actions can do that. Be prepared and make sure to follow the laws of the locality that you’re in. Owning firearms is a right and a responsibility at the same time.

Hopefully, there will not be another shooting such as the one last week. If there is ever such a situation again, hopefully, there are more Brandon Tsays out there.
