Tesla and SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk tweeted up a storm on X, formerly Twitter, last week to expose the cynical political ploy behind President Joe Biden’s open-borders immigration policy, triggering some Democrats to accuse him of spreading a “vile conspiracy theory.”
The Musk tweetstorm began with a Friday evening post that said: “Biden’s strategy is very simple: 1. Get as many illegals in the country as possible. 2. Legalize them to create a permanent majority – a one-party state. That is why they are encouraging so much illegal immigration. Simple, yet effective.”

The post contained a screenshot of an Associated Press article from Jan. 2021 with the headline, “Biden to prioritize legal status for millions of immigrants.”
One leftwing commentator said in response, “This really is the exact vile conspiracy theory that has been behind a lot of violence and the richest man in the world obsessively pushing it like this is incredibly dangerous, even before you consider how he’s a defense contractor who owns a huge political platform.”

Musk then replied to the post with a link to a bill in Congress to “provide an earned path to citizenship” for illegal aliens. The Tesla CEO cheekily wrote, “Here is the full text of the bill. It sounds so reasonable at first, just like ‘The Committee of Public Safety’ actually meant ‘The Cutting Off Heads Committee’ in revolutionary France.”
Then Musk reposted the Biden strategy post with added clarification: “This explains why there are so few deportations, as every deportation is a lost vote. As happened this week, you can literally assault police officers in broad daylight in New York, be released with no bail, give everyone the finger and *still* not be deported!!”
The post referred to four illegal migrants who attacked two New York City police officers and fled by bus to California after a judge released them without bail.
On Saturday, Musk — clearly irritated with Biden — posted: “A few other things you probably don’t know: illegals in America can get bank loans, mortgages, insurance, driver’s licenses, free healthcare (California & New York) and in-state college tuition. What’s the point of being a citizen if an illegal gets all the benefits, but doesn’t pay taxes or do jury duty?”
