White House: Americans Have ‘Obligation’ To Aid Illegal Immigrants

According to White House National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby, Americans — many of whom are currently struggling due to the poor state of the economy under Biden’s leadership — “have an obligation” to help bring more foreign nationals into the United States.

During a briefing ahead of President Joe Biden’s scheduled meeting with Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador on Monday and Tuesday, Kirby claimed that the American people should help further dilute the labor pool and drain the economy by bringing in more foreigners. Often, both illegal aliens and legal immigrants send a significant chunk of their paychecks back to their home countries in the form of remittances.

“You can’t forget that… we do, as a nation of immigrants, have an obligation to provide better tools and pathways for them to come in,” Kirby told reporters at the White House.

Breitbart News notes in their reporting that the “Nation of Immigrants” narrative “was invented in the 1950s by advocates for more migration. Biden and his deputies are pushing that claim to justify their importation of more illegal migrants above the limits set by Congress.”

While talking to reporters, Kirby went on to claim that the president is attempting to “balance” the additional influx of foreign nationals into the U.S. with actions that merely “curb” — but do not actually stop — illegal immigration that is strongly opposed by most Americans and is causing a crisis at the southern border and in many communities across the country where the illegal aliens are being shipped to.

“This is a President who understands that safe and legal immigration into this country is a key cornerstone of our own security and prosperity, and that he is advancing ways to improve those legal pathways to entry… and that the illegal migration is curbed as best as we can,” Kirby added.

Biden echoed this sentiment in a tweet on Sunday, noting that his goal is only to “limit” illegal immigration.

“My Administration is using the tools available to limit illegal migration, expand legal pathways to immigration, and increase security. The approach we’re taking is based on a model we know works. But to truly fix our broken immigration system, Congress needs to act,” the post from Biden’s official Twitter account read.
