Trump And Vance Take Aim At Kamala Harris Over Crime And Border Issues At Minnesota Rally

President Donald Trump and his running mate Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) launched a scathing attack on Vice President Kamala Harris during a rally in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The duo criticized Harris for her support of the Minnesota Freedom Fund and her handling of the border crisis, painting her as ineffective and dangerous.

The Minnesota Freedom Fund, which Harris promoted during the 2020 riots, has been criticized for bailing out individuals who later committed violent crimes. “I sent in the National Guard to save Minneapolis while Kamala Harris sided with the arsonists and rioters and raised money to bail out the criminals,” Trump said, highlighting Harris’s controversial actions.

Vance reinforced Trump’s message, warning about the implications of Harris’s stance on bail reform. “Kamala wants to end cash bail, and what that means is that if you assault a police officer, you can be back on the street the very next day,” he said. Vance also accused Harris of raising money to bail out rioters and looters, adding, “Let’s throw them in jail and support the cops.”

The rally took aim at Harris for her role in the Minnesota Freedom Fund, with Vance noting, “She helped a group of anti-cop extremists raise more than $40 million dollars to free scores of criminals right here in Minnesota.”

Trump and Vance also focused on Harris’s performance as the “border czar,” criticizing her for failing to control the border crisis. “Kamala Harris’s deadly destruction of America’s borders is completely and totally disqualifying for her to be president,” Trump asserted. “The one job Kamala had was the border. That’s the only job, but it was the biggest disaster in border history.”

Trump used a metaphor to illustrate his point, saying, “People in other countries could use sticks and stones to secure a better border than Harris has in the US.”

The rally highlighted the campaign’s strategy to emphasize Harris’s perceived failures and energize their base by focusing on issues of law and order and border security. The crowd’s reaction suggested that these topics resonate strongly with Trump and Vance’s supporters.
