Ron DeSantis Just Sent a Powerful Message in New York City

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) is quickly becoming more and more popular amongst conservatives these days. The Florida governor’s popularity ultimately boils down to his leadership, resistance against Democratic control, and the success of Florida.

With DeSantis as governor, Florida’s seen record numbers of new residents pouring in. Just last year, the state hit the first-time-ever milestone of getting more Florida Republican voters registered in the state than Florida Democratic voters.

At this time, DeSantis is up for re-election. With an over $100 million war chest in his arsenal, the Florida governor also enjoys substantial poll leads over Democrats in the state who are running to take his job.

However, the work and influence of DeSantis is not just limited to Florida. During a recent speaking event in New York City, DeSantis sent a clear and unmistakable message.

What to Know About DeSantis’ Statements in New York City
This past Sunday, DeSantis delivered remarks at the Jewish Leadership Conference. One of the highlights of the Republican governor’s speech arrived when he talked about the victories of the conservative movement involving education, freedom, and more.

DeSantis noted the opposition that he faced from Democrats who didn’t want him speaking in New York City. To this end, the governor explained when left-wingers react in this manner, it’s because conservatives are ultimately winning.

Later, DeSantis explained that try as leftists might, they’re not going to cancel him or shut him up. Just as he’s noted before, DeSantis confirmed he’ll continue to show up and speak his mind.

During additional statements before the Jewish Leadership Conference, the Florida governor talked about the success his state’s had in beating back COVID. This happened without Florida implementing draconian mandates that were seen in blue states like California and New Jersey.

Interestingly enough, about 24 hours after DeSantis spoke in New York City, Mayor Eric Adams (D) wound up rolling back mask mandates for children between the ages of two and four.

More to Come From the Florida Governor?
Within the past several weeks, there has been growing talk about DeSantis eventually making a presidential run.

DeSantis’ message shows he won’t be bending the knee to left-wing media, Democratic politicians or other pressures.

Many conservatives love these traits, with some saying they’re necessary to take back the White House in the 2024 presidential election.
