Freedom in a red state versus a blue state means different things. Governor Ron DeSantis has been a shining example of the 10th amendment, limiting each state’s federal government’s authority.
DeSantis signed the Parents’ Bill of Rights executive order, which tells the federal government to mind its own business. The bill says, “despite center for disease control (CDC) “guidance,” forcing students to wear masks lacks a well-grounded scientific justification. Indeed, a Brown University study analyzed COVID-19 data for schools in Florida and found no correlation with mask mandates, and making children may lead to negative health and societal ramifications, and studies have shown that children are at low risk of contracting a serious illness due to COVID-19 and do not play a significant role in the spread of the virus, and forcing children to wear masks could inhibit breathing, lead to the collection of dangerous impurities bacteria, parasites, fungi, and other contaminants, and adversely affect communication in the classroom and student performance.”
DeSantis also added the most important factor of the bull, “pursuant to Florida law, and all parents have the right to make healthcare decisions for their children.”
That means, want your child to wear a mask, fine. Want you to not wear a mask, also fine. Liberty is the most critical factor in any legislation, policy, or law. If you give the citizen no option to decide for themselves, you’re inhibiting their freedom. It isn’t a debate over “my mask protects you, and your mask protects me.” We’re past that already. Because apparently, your vaccine doesn’t even protect you, so why would a mask?
Children of all ages across the country have had severe issues with masks, and Florida, being as hot as it is, would be one of the worst. Children have passed out from lack of oxygen, and many teachers and coaches have been against masks and stood up for their values but were fired. To expect a child to do a full spring for the track team on a hot day with a mask is downright cruel. Nobody should expect that from kids. But dare go against the narrative, and you’ll be fired.
DeSantis is one of many governors stepping up to the plate because the federal government is asleep at the wheel, well, at least Biden. Biden has no thoughts of his own. And when he tries, he talks about corn pop and little girls.
The governors have had enough of the federal government’s tyranny in their states. The CDC has been extremely wushu washy about masks, vaccines, and now the Covid-19 tests aren’t reliable anymore. Can we believe anything they say, or are we doomed to make our own decisions and get censored and thrown from society?
The best option is to make your own educated decisions for the welfare of your family and let the feds stay busy ignoring Hunter Biden’s laptop and shady art deals.
