Former NBC Megyn Kelly Today host, Megyn Kelly, showed her discontent when an announcer at Sunday’s NFC championship game referred to First Lady Jill Biden as “Dr.” Kelly took to her Twitter account to accuse the first lady of having low self-esteem.
“Announcers for this Eagles-49ers game just spotted the first lady in a box and of course called her ‘Dr. Jill Biden,’” Kelly tweeted. “Wonder if she realizes what a wannabe she looks like insisting on this fake title. Get a real MD or just work on your self-esteem.”

Kelly’s tweet comes after the first lady was booed last year at Lincoln Financial Field at the end of the Philadelphia Eagles pregame. Despite being an Eagles fan, Jill Biden caught the ire of the home supporters.
The first lady was attending the Eagles’ game against the Dallas Cowboys in support of the National Football League’s cancer initiative known as the “Crucial Catch” campaign.
Attendees loudly booed the first lady, who was an honorary captain for the Eagles, after she was shown on a big screen in the stadium.
Kelly also had her own date with the court of popular opinion after she was fired from her NBC show for her misguided comments about blackface.
While speaking on Halloween costumes during an episode of her morning show in 2018, Kelly said wearing blackface as a costume during the holiday is acceptable so long as it is done in a “respectful and part of a Halloween costume.”
“OK when I was a kid as long as you were dressing like a character,” Kelly said.
Kelly’s comment landed her in hot waters with several angry voices calling for her sack.
“I want to begin with two words: I’m sorry,” Kelly said while apologizing for her comment. “I defended the idea of blackface, saying that as long as it was respectful and part of a Halloween costume, that it seemed OK. Well, I was wrong, and I am sorry.”
Despite her apology, Kelly was still fired and now hosts her podcast, “The Megyn Kelly Show.”
