Maria Bartiromo To Comer And Jordan: ‘Are You Going To Subpoena Biden?’

It was last week when incoming House oversight chair Rep. James Comer announced a plan for the GOP to investigate the many alleged scandals and potentially corrupt business dealings of the Biden family.

Comer announced at the time that the GOP is “going to make it very clear that this is now an investigation of President Biden,” and that they have already found “business plans aimed at targets around the world based on influence peddling, including with people closely tied to foreign governments like China and Russia.”

Since then, Maria Bartiromo of Fox News had Comer as well as Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) appear on the network to learn more about their plan to tackle the alleged Biden family corruption.

“Are you going to subpoena Joe Biden, are you going to subpoena all of those involved in allowing China and the communist party to get inside the gates of America by paying off certain individuals like the Biden family?” Bartiromo asked.

“We’re gonna subpoena whoever the investigation leads us to subpoena,” promised Comer.

“We’re serious about this. We’re gonna start with bank records… there’s no question that Joe Biden was receiving benefit [sic] from Hunter Biden.”

Bartiromo asked Jordan how “the DOJ and FBI [became] so politicized,” noting that the agency pursued FISA warrants for an investigation into former
President Trump regarding his relations with Russia despite there not being a smidgeon of evidence suggesting the two ever colluded.

“I don’t know how it happened but I know it has to change,” began Jordan. “America is not America if you have a justice department that treats people differently under the law, it’s not supposed to work that way… it’s why 14 agents have come talked to us as whistleblowers…”

The congressman additionally noted that anonymous DOJ workers have alleged that the highest levels of the department are rotten to their core.

When asked why the GOP is intent on investigating the Biden family, Jordan said last week that “the only way you can hold people accountable and hopefully stop the behavior is to present it to the country — that’s what we’ve got to do.”
