Lia Thomas Says Advocates For Women Are ‘Transphobic,’ Riley Gaines Responds

Lia Thomas, a former University of Pennsylvania swimmer who identifies himself as a woman, blasted women who he alleges use feminism as a shield in order to push so-called “transphobic beliefs.”

These comments by Thomas came during an appearance on a podcast called “Dear Schuyler,” which was launched by another gender-confused male swimmer named Schuyler Bailar.

“They’re like, ‘Oh, we respect Lia, as a woman, as a trans woman or whatever, we respect her identity, we just don’t think it’s fair.’ You can’t really have that sort of half-support where you’re like, ‘Oh, I respect her as a woman here, but not here,’” Thomas complained on Bailar’s new podcast.

He then claimed that women who oppose being subjected to having men play in their sports matches are “using the guise of feminism to sort of push transphobic beliefs.”

“I think a lot of people in that camp sort of carry an implicit bias against trans people, but don’t want to, I guess, fully manifest or speak that out,” Thomas added. “And so they try to just play it off as this sort of half-support.”

Political commentator Clay Travis marveled at Thomas’ courage in making such a claim, remarking, “How about the balls on this dude?… I mean a dude with balls has just said women aren’t supporting me enough for being a woman.”

Bailar concurred with Thomas and argued that women have “twisted” feminism in an effort to oppose gender-confused people.

“They think about how twisted ‘feminism’ has become their arguments. In order to exclude anybody in the trans category, you have to reduce women to reproductive capacity, which is, in my opinion, extremely anti-feminist,” he asserted.

Former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines reacted to Thomas’ podcast appearance, slamming him for “gaslighting” women and others who do not toe the line of gender ideology.

Gaines, who once competed on the same swim team as the male Lia Thomas, is an ardent defender of preserving women’s sports for females alone.

The former collegiate swimmer was infamously chased and allegedly attacked by a vicious mob just earlier this month after she delivered a speech at San Francisco State University. Hordes of protestors were reportedly seen screaming at the event, yelling, “Trans women are women” and “Trans rights are human rights.” Gaines was then forced to put up barricades and was trapped by the mob for at least three hours, during which police did nothing to help.

“I’ve talked to several of Lia Thomas’ teammates, one even just yesterday after watching this podcast, who informed me the gaslighting that Thomas was portraying in that video was what they dealt with all year last year,” Gaines explained.

“The word that comes to mind when watching this podcast is sheer entitlement and selfishness and an utter disregard towards women.”
