Hillary Clinton Roasted for Tweet Claiming ‘No One Actually Needs an AR-15’

Former Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was torched on social media after sending out a tweet claiming that “No one actually needs an AR-15.”

After enjoying years of taxpayer-funded protection from agencies and departments using bodyguards with a variety of weapons, including AR-15’s, Clinton is still choosing to push the left’s position that the average American doesn’t need one.

According to her reasoning, she and other politicians deserve 24/7 protection with heavily armed security, while the American people must be slowly disarmed.

This isn’t the first time Clinton has taken the position that guns should be banned while totally ignoring the fact that she spent a significant amount of her life being protected by people with guns.

Following a San Bernardino shooting on December 2, 2015, that killed 14 people, the former secretary of state said, “Guns, in and of themselves…will not make Americans safer.”

On January 3, 2016, then-presidential candidate Donald Trump called Clinton out for her comments, stating: “Hillary said that guns don’t keep you safe. If she really believes that she should demand that her heavily armed bodyguards quickly disarm!”

It appears that she has no intention of changing her position on the issue, despite the obvious hypocrisy.

Critics on social media had a field day roasting her for her ridiculous tweet, with many making the same point that Trump made during the election cycle in 2016.

“We protected your husband with them,” wrote former Secret Service agent and radio host Dan Bongino.

“If people like you state that they aren’t needed, then they’re needed,” replied Youtuber and author Styx Hexenhammer.

“Then why are they being sent to Ukraine?” asked podcast host Liz Wheeler, pointing out the obvious necessity for civilians to have weapons to defend themselves from potential invading forces.

“How else are we supposed to protect ourselves from you?” asked Angela McArdle, chairwoman of the Libertarian Party.

“Tell that to Kyle Rittenhouse,” said Kari Lake, Republican candidate for governor of Arizona, referring to the incident in 2020 where 17-year-old Rittenhouse was forced to use a rifle to defend himself from several attackers during a riot in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Anarchist author Michael Malice simply responded by sharing a video clip of former President Donald Trump saying “Shut up, silly woman!”
