Harris Campaign Bets On RINO Endorsements To Court Moderate GOP Voters

Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign is focusing on gaining support from moderate Republicans by highlighting endorsements from several prominent RINOs. Former GOP Reps. Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney, along with Jimmy McCain, son of the late Arizona Sen. John McCain, have publicly backed Harris over President Donald Trump.

These endorsements are part of the Harris campaign’s effort to appeal to Republicans and Independents who may be disillusioned with Trump’s leadership. The campaign has launched a “Republicans for Harris” initiative and hired a National Republican Engagement Director to reach out to these voters.

“We are proud of the bipartisan support Vice President Harris is receiving,” said campaign spokesperson Ian Sams. “Her commitment to the Constitution, freedom, and patriotism is resonating with voters across the political spectrum.”

Trump’s campaign, however, remains focused on building support from former Democrats, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard. Trump campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt dismissed the significance of Harris’s RINO endorsements, stating, “No real conservative would ever back Kamala Harris, who stands for high taxes, weak-on-crime policies, and open borders.”

The Harris campaign is banking on these RINO endorsements to help sway moderate Republican voters, but whether this strategy will lead to a significant shift in the GOP base remains to be seen.
