President Joe Biden just turned 79 years old and is the most senior sitting President in the history of the United States. A day before he had a colonoscopy, Kamala Harris became the first-ever female President of the United States of America for 90 minutes. While Biden went off to celebrate his birthday in Delaware after the White House doctor declared that the 79-year-old is healthy and sound, many ask him to seize the opportunity and step down from the Presidency.
Many people compare his age to his IQ as the 46th President of the United States, but this is unreasonable given his 40-year political experience in Washington. It has always been the same. Although White House Physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor wrote in a memo that the President is healthy and vigorous for being the POTUS and making history, he does so for all the wrong reasons. Biden took over the Presidency almost a year ago, took over the biggest economic crisis in history, and presided over the worst pandemic ever. The oldest President in our history promised normalcy. The era of mean tweets has ended but fast forward one year, and we are back to square one, I would say, or the complete opposite of routine.
The Democrats have increased division to the point that their party members can not agree on significant policies, and the Republicans have been shut out from various processes. If the progressives could get their way, they would have the Republicans cut out entirely. Moreover, the Administration has imposed stronger mandates and has even termed the parents terrorist if they even tried to question what is being taught to their children in school. It shows that it’s not just the Parents that the Administration does not want to work with.
Joe Biden is no longer at the top of his political game, and most importantly, those around him have started to see it more clearly than ever. The country is headed towards uncertain times, and solid and competent leadership is strongly needed, and Biden just doesn’t cut it.
