Graham Defends Poor Timing Of Abortion Bill With Emma Watson Quote

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) introduced a bill on Tuesday that would ban abortion after 15-weeks of pregnancy. Protecting the physical life of the mother, rape, and incest are the only exceptions included in the legislation.

What’s noteworthy isn’t the bill itself, but the timing Graham chose for its introduction.

Tuesday, September 13, was the same day we were informed that inflation rose by 8.3% in the month of August.

The price of nearly all goods increased, yet Graham had the bright idea to distract from Democrats’ failures by holding a press conference to announce his new bill. Are we positive he’s a Republican?

The pro-life fight is a worthy cause indeed, but there’s a time and a place for everything. It appears Fox News host Jesse Watters agrees.

Graham appeared on “Jesse Watters Primetime” and asked the question we’re all wondering, “Why’d you do it on that day?”

“I am proudly pro-life, and I have no apology for being pro-life. There’s no bad time to defend the unborn,” countered Graham. “I’m not going to sit on the sidelines,” he added, making sure everyone knows how tough he is.

“Yesterday is the day they lost all momentum,” Watters pointed out, “…and you gave them an out.”

Republicans need to be “on the offensive,” responded Graham, skipping the apology and going right into another rehearsed talking point.

“We could have shoved this down their throat on the day Americans got hammered with the inflation number and the market crashing, ” another solid point made by the Fox News host.

Lindey Graham’s rebuttal is one for the books, ladies and gentlemen.

“If not now, when? If not me, who?” Graham said. That’s Lindsey Graham, one of the most powerful Republicans in the nation, quoting Emma Watson on national television.

Good to know one of the Republican leaders in the senate is a big Harry Potter fan.

Those of us that follow conservative politics closely understand this is par for the course for Lindsey Graham. Economy in shambles, crime on the rise, southern border wide open, yet the man’s number one priority is still anyone but the America.
