Robichaux, a former Force Recon Marine, spoke with Samantha Renck, a reporter for the Daily Caller News Foundation, about the Biden administration’s evacuation plan as well as the possibility of additional assaults in the run-up to the August 31st departure deadline.
In addition, the intelligence community and all military advisors shared Robichaux’s point of view. Thus this conclusion was not difficult to obtain. Moreover, Biden overcame their opposition, ordering a rapid drawdown, if not a total withdrawal, of American soldiers in Afghanistan. According to the American public and a sizable number of newscasters, including conservative newscasters, they are all starting from the wrong foundational position, namely that it has been 20 years since the start of this long war, and it is time to end it, or that America could use a different withdrawal strategy. However, if they begin with this assumption, they make statements that Americans have been conditioned to complete due to being fed this story by the military. The fact is that the United States should not have withdrawn from Afghanistan or wholly withdrawn. The notion that Americans should’ve used different strategies to withdrawal is patently false.
The United States had in Afghanistan just four thousand United States military personnel stationed at Bagram Air Force Base, supporting and advising both the Afghan National Army and the Afghan National Police. The US has been doing so for the past two years, and they have not been involved in an Afghan war with the Taliban in a long time. Because of this, it is simply not accurate to say that Americans must hurry up and get out of this war as soon as possible.
