Democrat Operative In Montana Caught Tampering With Ballot Box

Laszlo Gendler, a Democrat operative tied to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), was caught on camera tampering with a ballot drop box in Glacier County, Montana. Video footage shows Gendler attempting to tear the box from the wall, raising concerns about the security of the election process in a key Senate race.

Glacier County Election Administrator Crystal R. Cole confirmed that Gendler was seen on surveillance footage at the ballot box on October 20th. Gendler reportedly claimed he was sent to assess the security of the box, but the Democratic Party had not informed the elections office of any such inspection, leading to further suspicion.

Montana Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen’s office was alerted to the incident, and Communications Director Richie Melby confirmed that the case has been referred to local law enforcement. While Gendler was unsuccessful in removing the box, his actions have raised alarms about potential tampering.

This development comes as Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT) faces a tough re-election campaign against GOP challenger Tim Sheehy. Recent polling shows Sheehy leading the race by a significant margin, with Republicans hoping to gain control of the Senate by winning crucial seats like Montana.
