CCP Espionage Accelerates Under Biden-Harris, House Report Reveals

A new congressional report has revealed that Chinese Communist Party (CCP) spying activities in the United States have significantly increased during the Biden-Harris administration. The report, released by the House Homeland Security Committee’s Subcommittee on Counterterrorism, shows that more than 55 instances of Chinese espionage were documented between January 2021 and October 2024.

These incidents, spread across 20 states, include efforts to steal military secrets, intellectual property, and the repression of Chinese dissidents. “Beijing has continually encroached upon American sovereignty,” Committee Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) stated, underscoring the growing threat posed by the CCP.

The report mentions several alarming cases, including the sentencing of Ji Chaoqun in 2023 for acting as an illegal agent for China. Chaoqun had been working to recruit American scientists and gain access to advanced technologies. Another notable incident involved a Chinese attempt to breach a Marine Corps base in California earlier this year.

Beyond espionage, the report highlights an increase in the number of Chinese nationals apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border. In Fiscal Year 2024, over 36,000 Chinese nationals were detained, far exceeding the combined total from the previous 13 years.

The growing threat of CCP espionage has prompted criticism of the Biden-Harris administration’s handling of national security. Kamala Harris, who has been linked to China, is facing increased scrutiny, as is Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, who is also being investigated for his ties to China.
