Biden’s Mental Health is a Serious Concern to Democrats

Concerns about the mental wellbeing of Joe Biden predate his time in the Oval Office. During the 2020 presidential election, Biden made all sorts of gaffes, leaving Americans questioning his fitness to serve.

However, since Biden’s gotten into the White House, he’s been making more and more blunders. These occur not just during speaking engagements, but also when the president is standing by himself or with others.

He’s been seen shaking hands with thin air on multiple occasions. Likewise, the president made headlines for being ordered around by the Easter Bunny and having his wife, first lady Jill Biden, tell him how to move around, clap, and otherwise handle himself in public.

As more of Biden’s strange behavioral episodes take place, Democrats are growing more and more worried.

A Very Telling Poll
A report by Issues & Insights/TIPP reveals that 39% of Democrats aren’t feeling very confident in the mental health of the president. Many Democrats also fear that if their party loses the midterms this November, Biden will become a lame duck president.

The 39% of Democrats with concerns about Biden’s mental health is a substantially lower amount than 82% of GOP members and 56% of Independents. However, it coincides with the growing, left-wing calls for Biden to sit out the 2024 White House race.

Aside from making various gaffes, Biden’s also been putting out public statements that are just factually inaccurate. Just this week, the president claimed Americans’ wages are “up” in August. Yet, in actuality, Americans’ wages are falling and getting eaten alive by inflation.

Months ago, Biden also raised eyebrows when he was questioned about the White House repeatedly having to walk back his statements. When Fox News correspondent Peter Doocey pressed Biden on this issue, he responded by asking Doocey “what’s getting walked back?”

The Writing on the Wall
As concerns about Biden’s mental health increase, so is the list of Democrats who refuse to endorse him for president.

Thus far, Reps. Cori Bush (D-MS) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), along with Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Joe Manchin (D-WV) have been directly asked whether they’d support Biden running in 2024.

Each of these lawmakers dodged the question and refused to affirmatively give Biden their endorsement. At the same time, op-eds in left-wing publications are screaming from the rooftops that Biden should be a one-and-done president.
