Allegations Surface Against Kamala Harris Over Staff Treatment

Vice President Kamala Harris is under fire following allegations from former staffers about her conduct as California’s Attorney General. These allegations describe a workplace marred by fear and verbal abuse.

A former staffer revealed that Harris required employees to stand and say “Good morning, general” each morning. Staff members were also instructed not to look her in the eye, a privilege reserved only for senior staff, creating an atmosphere of intimidation.

The details were brought to light in a 2019 op-ed for The Union by Democrat professor Terry McAteer, who described his son Gregory’s experiences as an intern for Harris. McAteer aimed to reveal “a side of Kamala Harris which the general public does not know.”

“Gregory was also given instruction to never address Harris nor look her in the eye,” McAteer wrote. “Staff members lived in complete fear during her tenure as attorney general from 2011 to 2017.”

Harris has faced numerous accusations of being a “bully” throughout her career. A recent report from OpenTheBooks.com revealed a 95.1 percent staff turnover rate in her office as Vice President. Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) confirmed this, saying, “Nobody lasts very long while working for Kamala Harris.”

These allegations raise serious concerns about Harris’s leadership style and her treatment of employees, casting a shadow over her political career.
